"We have voted on a draft of the ordinance that must be signed by the Prime Minister to allow the system of the Regions to be immediately operational for the management of reception and first aid for Ukrainian refugees".

This was stated by the regional councilor for environmental defense, Gianni Lampis, who, this morning, as delegated by President Solinas, participated in the videoconference with the National Department of Civil Protection and the Conference of Regions.

"The system will be similar to the one we have already used on the occasion of the humanitarian emergency that involved Afghanistan - added Councilor Lampis - People will be placed in accommodation or other facilities, thanks also to the decisive contribution of regional civil protection system which, together with the world of volunteering, is available with its professionalism in assistance and rescue activities ".

"As regards the health aspects, it emerged that they will have to find maximum and priority attention. Already yesterday, a circular from General Figliolo made the regional health systems available for anticovid vaccinations, as well as for an in-depth screening, preparatory to the next displacement of refugees in first reception facilities ", concluded the exponent of the Giunta Solinas.
