Two young people rescued by helicopter and taken to hospital get lost during the excursion to Baunei

A couple of tourists got lost while trying to reach the beach of Cala Sisine . Around 2.30pm today, during an excursion in the Baunei area, the two lost their orientation and, finding themselves in difficulty, tired and dehydrated, asked for help .
The operations room of the Nuoro fire brigade immediately sent a team from the Tortolì detachment and in support the staff of the Alghero flight department with the Saf (Alpine river speleo) specialists on board the Drago 144 helicopter .
Once the young people were identified in the Bidonie area, they were winched on board and subsequently transferred to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro for further checks. The intervention ended at 5.50pm.
