There was great emotion in Guspini at the announcement by Bishop Roberto Carboni of the special title bestowed by the Pope on the priest brothers Franco and Elvio Tuveri . In a statement from the Curia of Ales, the Bishop expressed his satisfaction: "The Secretariat of State announces that the Holy Father Leo XIV has conferred the title of 'Chaplain of His Holiness' on two of our brothers from the diocese of Ales-Terralba."

The title of Chaplain of His Holiness (which is accompanied by the more well-known title of "Monsignor") is an ecclesiastical honor bestowed by the Pope on individual diocesan priests, and is awarded for special merit or service to the Church . The Tuveri brothers, born in 1961, are well-known in the village: after completing their studies at the Regional Seminary of Cagliari, they were ordained priests in Guspini in 1987. The news brought great satisfaction among the residents for the two priests who grew up in the "su lacu de funta noba" neighborhood. Father Elvio, having directed the San Domenico Savio Oratory for several years, a place of formation for many young people, has left an indelible mark on the memories of many young men who are now adults, many of whom have families.

After his appointment, Don Franco stated that "nothing has changed in the service and performance of duties in the parishes and in the Diocese of Ales-Terralba."

The two brothers currently serve in the towns of Villacidro and San Gavino , and in the curia in Ales. Don Franco is parish priest in Villacidro, in the church of "Madonna del Rosario." In addition to this role, he also serves as Chancellor of the Diocesan Curia and as Episcopal Vicar for Consecrated Life. Since September 1st, Don Elvio has been the new Vicar General of the diocese and is parish priest of the parishes of "Santa Teresa" and "Santa Lucia" in San Gavino Monreale. He is also Director of the Office of Cultural Heritage and Places of Worship and of the Office of Sacred Art.

The entire ecclesial and lay community of Guspini expressed their best wishes to the two priests for the recognition they have received and for a fruitful priestly apostolate.
