Two thousand plants and over 270 kilos of marijuana inflorescences seized in the Sassari area.

The finance police visited the farm to check compliance with the laws regarding illegal employment. They found marijuana flowers and plants.

Inspections by the Guardia di Finanza (Fiamme Gialle) of the Ozieri branch identified 276 kilos of cannabis inflorescences, packed in a warehouse and hidden in bags and cardboard boxes intended for sale, without supporting documentation and ready to be placed on the market.

Following further inspections and searches, various machinery, such as industrial fans, dehumidifiers, and centrifuges used for drying, shredding, and packaging, were identified in other company facilities.

In another agricultural area belonging to the company, a further plantation was identified: there were 2,000 cannabis plants already planted.

The drugs and machinery were seized and the owner was reported for production and trafficking of narcotics.
