«Cagliari is growing, we live very well here, citizens and visitors understand this. I notice that more and more people, especially professionals, are moving or thinking of coming here, where there are entrepreneurial and job opportunities and the productive fabric is very lively ».

The mayor of Cagliari Paolo Truzzu intervenes in Rome at the party for the tenth anniversary of the Brothers of Italy , he says he is "happy" to have become mayor of the Sardinian capital and "satisfied with the work done so far".

There are problems "as in all cities of the world", he admits. And he will be fully satisfied, he says, " only when I've managed to really transform Cagliari especially at an infrastructural level ".

The transformation of the waterfront, from Giorgino and Sant'Elia is the great work he cares most about. But the " regeneration of historic streets such as Trieste, Merello, Buoncammino, Dante " is also fundamental.

Then the discussion becomes more political and Truzzu recalls how Cagliari was among the first cities in the rise of Giorgia Meloni's party: « We were the first to believe in it and to have percentages over 10%. At the base, personal credibility counts a lot , a sowing over the years respected and known by all. Today those who come to us have a framework of rules but know that they have the freedom to make and propose. The idea was not to remake the National Alliance but a subject of the right but open to other political, associative and human cultural experiences».
