Tragedy between Sassari and Ittiri, father and twenty-year-old son killed in two-car crash

The victims of the tragic accident that occurred in the late afternoon on the road between Sassari and Ittiri, the provincial road 15, are a father and son . Antonio Luigi Puledda, 47 years old, and Gavino Puledda, 20 years old . They were originally from Ittiri and lived in Porto Torres.

The two were on board the Citroen C4 which, about 4 km from Ittiri, was involved in a terrible crash with a Lancia Y. The causes are yet to be ascertained, the impact was very violent and there was nothing that could be done for the father and son. The driver of the other vehicle was seriously injured, after being extracted from the sheet metal with shears and spreaders by the firefighters he was transported in red code to the Santissima Annunziata hospital.

The accident occurred shortly before 6pm and was attended by 118 personnel, the Highway Police, the Carabinieri and the Fire Brigade.
