Tortolì, Pro loco Rocce Rosse and flower arrangements awaited by Pope Francis

The exponents of the tourist association, founded last September and chaired by Fabrizio Palmas, will be joined on Wednesday morning by a group of flower decorators from Tortolì who, on 29 June in via della Conciliazione, will create a floral carpet with fresh petals and other natural products.
The mission of the Pro loco of Tortolì, indicated by the regional Unpli to represent the Island, is part of the corollary of events promoted on the occasion of the celebrations in honor of Saints Peter and Paul, patron saints of Rome.
The 48 square meter artistic floral display will depict the Madonna of Bonaria, protector of Sardinia. Simona Taula, Erica Fasone, Sandra Nieddu, Gisella Secci, Daniela Sechi and Tiziana Murru will take part in the Roman mission. «We are proud of the opportunity that Unpli Sardegna, the whole island and Tortolì have given us at the party that will take place on June 29 in Rome. We have delegated the infioratrici of Tortolì for their professionalism: with their work they will pay homage to Pope Francis», said Palmas, who is also expected in the capital together with the treasurer of the association, Riccardo Schirru.
Also present in Rome will be Raffaele Sestu and Vittorino Murgia, respectively president of the regional Unpli and number one of the Pro loco of Ogliastra.
