Tortolì, arsonists in action: two cars destroyed on Monte Attu

Nights of fire in the Monte Attu neighborhood. Arsonists attacked Via Fleming, a parallel street to Viale Pirastu, the road that leads from the western suburbs to State Road 198, heading towards Villagrande.

The perpetrators of the raid targeted a worker's Fiat Multipla , and the flames spread to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta owned by a man who lives on the same street. Firefighters from the city detachment intervened to put out the blaze, joined on the scene by a Carabinieri patrol from the Lanusei branch. The investigation, coordinated by the Lanusei Public Prosecutor's Office, began. So far, the evidence gathered by investigators has not shed any light on the incident.

The military doesn't even have access to video footage because the area where the attack occurred isn't under video surveillance. However, the Carabinieri are gathering testimonies to try to identify the perpetrators of the raid.
