What happened remains shrouded in mystery: was it a well-targeted theft on commission, a retaliation, or were many more tombs desecrated and had the thieves' raids been going on for some time?

For now, there is despair among the relatives of the four deceased. Yesterday, many Roma were present at the cemetery to watch the police operations. Since last Saturday, the day the desecration of the tombs was discovered, they have been asking for justice and greater security.
