Todde's ordinance: stop work in the fields and on construction sites from 12.30pm to 4pm

Ban on working in the fields and on construction sites from 12.30pm to 4pm in Sardinia . On the days and areas indicated as "high" danger in the risk map found on the "worklimate.it" website. Which, to be clear, on 19, 20 and 21 July practically concern the entire island.

President Todde signed an ordinance which prohibits working in conditions of prolonged exposure to the sun, from 12.30 pm to 4 pm, throughout the entire regional territory. The ban refers to workers exposed to the sun "with intense physical activity" . We talk about work in the agricultural and horticultural sector and on construction sites . Work which, it is underlined, is carried out outdoors without the possibility of shelter from the sun and heat.

The ordinance is effective immediately and expires on August 31st .
