A demanding night for the carabinieri in Terralba, where a 42-year-old for threat and a 50-year-old woman for theft ended up in handcuffs.
The most serious episode occurred at 4. At 112 the request came from a resident who indicated that she had been heavily threatened by her neighbor. Arriving at the scene, the carabinieri tried to identify the 42-year-old, but the man attacked and threatened them with a cleaver. He was disarmed and arrested. Now he is under house arrest.
The same fate befell the 50-year-old. The woman broke into a house and stole from a purse with 1,200 euros in cash. The owner, returned to the house, surprised and blocked her. The military then arrived on the spot.
The stolen money was recovered and returned.
