For two years he allegedly subjected his partner to threats, insults and violence, to the point of pushing her to ask for help. Now a forty-three-year-old resident of Dolianova has been served with an order to leave the family home and a ban on approaching the woman within 500 metres. The precautionary measure, issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Cagliari, was carried out this morning by the Carabinieri of Dolianova.

The man, already known to the police, had been the protagonist of several episodes of mistreatment, which according to the victim's complaint continued for at least two years, with verbal, psychological and, on some occasions, even physical violence.

The height of tension would have been reached on Christmas evening 2024, when an emergency intervention by the military forced the man to leave his home, finding temporary refuge with a friend.

The authorities intervened as part of the “Red Code” protocol , which provides for an immediate response to protect victims of domestic violence. The investigation is now continuing under the coordination of the judiciary, with the aim of gathering further evidence and ensuring the woman’s safety.
