A fire this morning damaged an apartment on the outskirts of Thiesi, on Via Musinu. A man suffered minor intoxication from inhaling smoke from the flames. He was taken to the Santissima Annunziata Hospital in Sassari by an ambulance.

Firefighters responded to the scene, extinguished the fire, and secured and decontaminated the house . An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blaze.
