They steal sand and shells from Sardinian beaches, three tourists stopped at Alghero airport

Financial Police of Sassari still in action in the ports and airports of the province to counter the action of sand thieves .

The soldiers of the Company of Alghero , on duty at the “Riviera del Corallo” port, stopped two Spanish tourists and one Serbian who were about to embark in three separate operations.

The yellow flames have recovered, in their various luggage, over a kilo and a half of sand and dozens of shells weighing more than half a kilo, all taken from the Sardinian beaches.

In the last month, over 7 kg of shells, pebbles and sand were seized, in interventions in collaboration with the Customs Agency and Monopoli, 7 offenders sanctioned.
