There was a gun next to Ciriaco Gusai's body

There was a gun next to the body of Ciriaco Gusai, the farmer found dead on Friday 1st August on a piece of land in the Monte Santu area , not far from the company he managed in the Siligo countryside.

The weapon had already been recovered when the body was found, but the news only circulated today. According to leaks, the gun was not registered to the sixty-nine-year-old.

Prosecutor Giovanni Porcheddu, in charge of the investigation, has ordered an autopsy on the body for Friday, to clarify the cause and timing of death. The autopsy will be performed by coroner Angela Seddaiu in Sassari.
