The newly formed Proloco of Olbia-Pittulongu sets in motion to launch summer initiatives. The program, which started with a beach volleyball tournament for amateurs which will be repeated (this time in category B2), is enriched with an original competition dedicated to urban decoration and environmental protection. “Vie e Ville in Fiore a Pittulongu” was designed to capture attention on the care of the seaside hamlet by making protagonists all the citizens who live there, both permanently and for short periods, and the commercial activities. A way to involve residents and tourists in the beautification of the neighborhood and encourage everyone to personally take care of private but also public goods.

The event begins on July 21st and will end on September 20th, with 3 categories competing: best street, best home, best commercial showcase. The technical jury will be made up of 2 institutional figures and 5 expert nurserymen from Olbia. The deadline for registrations, via the Proloco Facebook page, is July 20th while the awards ceremony will be held on Saturday September 28th.

Meanwhile, on Sunday 21 July, the association is organizing a morning of trekking and yoga at the Nuraghe Riu Mulinu. Departure to get to the monument, a few km from Olbia, in Cabu Abbas, at five in the morning; after arriving at the Nuraghe, the return to the Cabu Abbas green area where the yoga lesson led by Monica Riccomi will begin and at the end there will be breakfast.
