The Carabinieri of the Cagliari Labor Inspectorate have reported a 46-year-old resident of the capital, the managing partner of a bar in the Is Mirrionis neighborhood, for workplace safety violations.
The investigation revealed that the woman had failed to provide her employees with sufficient and adequate health and safety training, as required by law. Following the investigation , fines totaling approximately €1,800 were imposed.
The activity, the Carabinieri say, "is part of a broader synergy of checks carried out by all branches of the force and coordinated by the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Cagliari, which, in line with the Carabinieri's usual prevention and surveillance action in the area, are aimed at ensuring compliance with the regulations protecting workers and promoting safety in the workplace."
