The mushroom poisoning hypothesis has not been completely ruled out . It is true that those collected and consumed by the couple were edible, but for them to become toxic it was enough for them to have come into contact with the spores of other poisonous ones. And to thicken the mystery, as far as we know, there would also be the unusual position in which the bodies were found .

Obviously, to start all these investigations, the Prosecutor's Office had to open a file against unknown persons.
