On trial for alleged domestic abuse: judge finds no basis for the alleged abuse

The charges against a 58-year-old man from Ozieri were serious. Continuous abuse against his parents, which allegedly reached its peak in April of last year, at his parents' home. According to the charges, the man's fury was triggered by an invitation to the defendant's daughter's grandparents' parties.
And the latter, after sending some WhatsApp messages to his father, even though they lived in the same house, allegedly approached him in the kitchen and spat in his face and threw slices of pizza at him.
The parents filed a complaint and the trial ended yesterday in Sassari, where the man, represented by lawyer Carlo Pinna Parpaglia, was acquitted by Judge Valentina Nuvoli because the crime was not proven.
