«Never before has our province shown unity and cohesion. For the umpteenth time we have to fight to get what is due to us and today is the turn of the right to mobility . A discounted right for everyone, but not for Sardinian citizens and even less for those of the North-West of Sardinia ».
The administrator of the Province of Sassari, Pietro Fois , calls together the mayors of the Sassari area and Gallura and convenes an urgent meeting in view of the serious situation of territorial continuity which risks freezing the Alghero airport and the entire North West territory .
The meeting, scheduled for Wednesday 3 January at 11 in the Angioy room of the provincial building, will also be attended by the regional transport councilor Antonio Moro .
«Our role in the institutions that we represent calls us and obliges us to express the utmost indignation cohesively» underlines Fois «and to plan urgent protest actions so as to put an end to a shameful and anachronistic uncertainty about essential rights, such as mobility, which continues for over 50 years now." A goal that can be achieved with a great unity of politics but above all with the indispensable and fundamental intervention of all 92 mayors .
