Tempio celebrates Fabrizio De André, three days of music in July

The Faber Festival 2024 (next year the finish line of twenty editions will be reached) is an artistic, but also cultural and environmental itinerary, which will accompany the public into the most intimate atmospheres linked to the relationship between the singer-songwriter and Gallura.
For three days, from 12 to 14 July, Tempio will be Faber's home. The organizers (Iskeliu Cultural Association and Municipality of Tempio) have decided to place part of the Festival (the last day) on the Limbara, in Vallicciola, and in churchyard of the Madonna della Neve church.
The mayor of Tempio, Gianni Addis, the councilor Elizabeth Vargiu and the artistic director of the Festival, Sandro Fresi, presented the program of the event. Among the notable guests of the Festival, Daria Bignardi, the cover band Hotel Supramonte (which has already received the appreciation of the De André Foundation) and the French singer-songwriter Renat Sette. The artistic director Sandro Fresu explains: «Renat Sette will sing the songs by Georges Brassens which were translated and reinterpreted by De André, to name a few "Il Gorilla" and "Marcia nunziale". Opening on Friday 12 July at 6pm, the public will enter a journey of experiences that go beyond music, with the Sardinian herb workshops by Lucia Cascioni and Keras by Davide Deiana. Among the important events also the performance of the artist Gavino Ganau.
