A report by the Guardia di Finanza on the alleged hidden earnings, all strictly undeclared , of some of the most popular Sardinian OnlyFans content creators was enough to trigger an investigation by the Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office for tax evasion against unknown persons.
For now, no names have been entered in the register of suspects, but the investigators suspect that the internet platform allows for earnings that ultimately would not be traceable, thus remaining invisible to the tax authorities.
For the moment, little or nothing has leaked out about the investigation, entrusted to deputy prosecutor Enrico Lussu. The few details that have filtered out from investigative circles reveal that the investigations began in 2023 on the activity of a young woman who, having moved abroad for some time, would have churned out paid content on the popular site, without ever filing a tax return. An online sex professional, with a large number of followers who follow her and who pay out tens of euros every month to be able to access her adult content.
