Sulcis, flooding at its limit after the rains: Bau Pressiu and Monte Pranu are discharging water into the sea.

Farmers in the Sulcis region are breathing a sigh of relief , as the area's reservoirs have reached capacity thanks to the heavy rains that have been characterizing these days, including in Sulcis.

This morning, the Bau Pressiu Dam in the municipality of Nuxis began to overflow, and this afternoon, the Monte Pranu Dam in the municipality of Tratalias also overflowed. The waterways near the two reservoirs are under special surveillance because they could swell and create problems.

The mayors of the area have issued an ordinance imposing maximum security.
