State road 131, the northern junction of Bonorva is open
The work cost 20 million euros. The new junction also allows U-turns on the arterial roadAnas opened the new northern junction of Bonorva to traffic today, along state road 131 . The work, which cost 20 million euros , is part of the program to eliminate the road junctions on the main artery of the island.
The northern junction is the new access to Bonorva and guarantees greater safety standards for traffic. Four access ramps were created to and from the state road, which allow the exit for Bonorva and Semestene.
An underpass was also built which, crossing the main axis, allows two newly built roundabouts to be connected, via a two-way road system. The new junction, which replaces the previous one at ground level, also allows the U-turn on the SS131.
