The viability on the 129 bis Bosa-Macomer state road, in the section affected by the torrential rains on Sunday, will resume in a short time.

This is what emerged during the meeting convened by the regional councilor for public works, Pierluigi Saiu , which was attended by videoconference by the mayors of Sindia, Macomer, Silanus, Bosa and the department head of Anas in Sardinia, Francesco Ruocco.

«Anas - said councilor Saiu - communicated to us the immediate start of the intervention for the arrangement of the road surface damaged by the heavy rains that hit central-northern Sardinia hard. We have had reassurance from Anas that the works will start as early as Friday and will be completed shortly. This will make the road passable again."

The exponent of the regional executive then underlined: « The SS129 bis is a strategic artery that connects the territory with the SS131. The reopening of the stretch damaged by the flood will avoid enormous inconvenience. We are talking about a road within the competence of Anas and in order to respond to the concerns of the territory we have deemed it essential to immediately open a discussion table in the Department that would confront Anas and the mayors. We can only welcome the commitments made for the rapid reopening to traffic".
