From the sacred we get to the beatings. The image of a saint placed in front of a person's house in Sorso in 2019 by a 62-year-old , on the occasion of a procession, would be at the origin of a physical clash which gave rise to proceedings for injuries which ended in recent days in court in Sassari.
There was bad blood between the two men but that ex voto was perhaps seen as a provocation by those who saw it at the window. So when they meet, near the Sennori cemetery, a discussion arises with the accused who allegedly uttered a sentence along these lines: " You made the altar for me but I'm not dead yet ."
Then the fight with the other man who, according to the accusation, was hit with a stick and kicked in the face which caused a series of bruises that healed in 30 days. This is the accusation that then becomes fierce, even with the rival's dog hit by several kicks . Judge Giancosimo Mura ordered a six-month sentence for the accused, defended by the lawyer Simone Pisano. The civil party's lawyer was Piero Bertolino.
