Two thousand euros each for the brawl between two Roma families that occurred in Sorso on December 27th. This is what prosecutor Alessia Sanna requested today in court in Sassari for the seven defendants, all in summary proceedings , in a complex case. Four months ago, in Marina di Sorso, three people are accused of attacking two others who were inside a van in the Conad supermarket lot. The attack allegedly involved breaking a window and attempting to attack the driver and passenger , who then fled, knocking some of the alleged attackers to the ground, who were clinging to the vehicle. Defense lawyers have attempted to explain the incident, citing both an alleged romantic relationship and a Facebook live broadcast in which a series of insults were hurled at the "rival" family.

A cell phone was also reportedly stolen during the altercation, which was later recovered by the Carabinieri. Two minors were also arrested that day, but were released within a few days. The defendants were represented by lawyers Francesco Leori, Simona Pedde, Salvatore Castronuovo, Cinzia Cossu, Giuseppina Chiscuzzu, Irene Bianco, Danilo Mattana, and Valeria Testoni. Judge Stefania Mosca-Angelucci adjourned the case until May for further proceedings.
