Solitary robber at the Vaccileddi post office: loot of 90 thousand euros

An armed bandit with his face covered by a helmet broke into the post office in Vaccileddi, a hamlet of Loiri Porto San Paolo this afternoon.

With force and threats, he had the money contained in the boxes delivered by the clerk, and then fled. According to an initial estimate, the loot is 90,000 euros.

The carabinieri of the territorial department of Olbia, together with the agents of the State Police, are investigating and trying to trace the identity of the lone robber.

The postal worker suffered minor injuries and was rescued by 118 personnel.
