Snow returns to Gennargentu: awakening to white above 1400 meters

Due to the drop in temperatures, snow is returning to the Gennargentu above 1400 metres .

Tore Moro, from the Separadorgiu farm in Fonni , tells the story from his highest house on the island, together with the webcams of Sardegna Clima Onlus.

A few centimeters of white blanket, already partly dissolved. Which however give hope to the tourist operators, working to welcome some visitors in transit.

Downstream, heavy rains and disruption to traffic, with a boulder falling along the SP 7 Desulo-Fonni. Motorists in transit were unharmed, while removal operations by the Province's technicians are underway.
