A middle school girl from Sinnai was rescued in Funtanalada Square after being hit by a car while crossing the street.

Rescue was immediate with the arrival of a 118 ambulance which provided first aid to the student who was conscious and who was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The local police are carrying out investigations to clarify the dynamics of the incident. There are no other details on this matter.
