Siligo, four days of celebration for San Vincenzo Ferrer

Everything is ready in Siligo for the feast in honor of San Vincenzo Ferrer . It starts on Thursday 24 August at 21, in piazza Borgo San Nicolò, with the improvised poetry competition , sponsored by the municipality which will feature Bruno Agus and Nicola Farina accompanied by the tenor of Orgosolo.
On Friday 25 August, at 3 pm, the committee will leave the parish church with the flag, accompanied by the accordion of Francesco Virde and the distribution of blessed images. At 19, in the country church dedicated to the Saint, the evening Mass will be celebrated followed by the conclusion of the novena. At 21.30 we return to piazza Borgo San Nicolò for the guitar cantadores competition with the participation of Emanuele Bazzoni, Pino Masala and Marco Manca accompanied on guitar by Tore Matzau. At 10 pm, in the amphitheater, there will be a concert by the "NordSudOvest Band", a tribute to Max Pezzali. At the end Peppo Dj will perform.
On Saturday 26 August at 11, in the country church, Don Davide Onida will celebrate the solemn Mass . At 12.30, the procession by car and the transfer of the statue of the saint to the parish will follow. At 4 pm, in Piazza Maria Carta, there will be a space dedicated to children with a mini fun fair and inflatable games. At 7 pm the evening Mass is scheduled in the parish. At 21, in the amphitheater, "80 craving for 90'S" is scheduled, special guest Dj Spyne directly from Radio 105. To conclude the evening, Peppo Dj returns.
Sunday 27 August, at 11, the solemn Mass will be celebrated with a panegyric held by Don Antonio Serra. At 6 pm the procession will start accompanied by the musical band of Ploaghe, the knights, the costumes of Siligo, the medieval historical group of Ardara and the folk groups "Sos femineddos" of Sennori and "San Giorgio di Usini. At 10 pm the municipal amphitheater will host the concert by Maria Luisa Congiu.At midnight it will be the turn of Dj Marty & Jo.
