One person in hospital with yellow code and four cars involved: this is the outcome of a road accident that occurred this evening on provincial road 15, on the outskirts of Settimo San Pietro. The injured person was taken by ambulance to the hospital for checks after bruises reported in a collision involving four cars. An ambulance and the local police of the Union of Municipalities of Parteolla and Basso Campidano arrived on the scene and carried out the legal checks.
For several months, traffic on the provincial road that connects Sinnai to Settimo has become particularly heavy due to the closure of the slip road that leads from the ring road to Sinnai where work on a new roundabout is being completed.
On the same ring road just a week ago there was another accident between two cars with two injuries. Only with the reopening of the slip road to Sinnai, the situation will be able to normalize with traffic better distributed between the two roads.
