Sestu, the motorbikes roar in mourning for the farewell to Alessandro Ferru

Pain and emotion in Sestu for the final farewell to Alessandro Ferru, the 36-year-old who died last Saturday in a tragic motorbike accident on State Road 387, on the hairpin bends between Donori and Sant'Andrea Frius.

The funeral was held in the church of Our Lady of Grace, in front of a crowd of family and friends.

The latter wanted to bid farewell to the 36-year-old by lining up dozens of motorbikes and making their engines roar, in honor of what was one of Ferru's greatest passions.
