A shed apparently intended for storing tools, but which in reality was a real drying center for marijuana. The discovery, at first light this morning in Sestu, led to two arrests: a 54-year-old farmer and a 34-year-old unemployed man.

The two, both residents of the rural area "Terra Mai", were surprised at 6 am by the Carabinieri inside the agricultural land they used. During the inspection, the military found over 12 kilograms of cannabis inflorescences in the drying phase, divided into several drying areas and prepared, presumably, to be placed on the illegal market. The entire quantity was seized and will be analyzed to ascertain the active ingredient and other qualities.

The two arrested - already known to the police - were accompanied to their respective homes and will remain under house arrest pending the validation hearing. This is the umpteenth intervention to seize drugs in the Cagliari area in recent days .
