Sennori remembers one of his most illustrious figures: the improvising poet Antonio Pazzola .

On Saturday 16 December at 6.30 pm, in the cultural center in via Farina 32, in Sennori, in the auditorium named after him, an evening will be staged in his honor to celebrate ten years since his death .

For the occasion, the first edition of the "Antoni Pazzola Award" will be launched, an event organized by the Municipality of Sennori, together with the family of the extemporaneous poet and with the support of the Sardinia Foundation and the Santa Vittoria Pharmacy. The poets will compete on stage: Bruno Agus, Salvatore Ladu and Giuseppe Porcu accompanied by the tenor Ula Tirso.

The Award, according to the promoters, wants to become a fixed event of the cultural events that cultivate the Sardinian linguistic tradition , activating a series of actions throughout the year. With this in mind, the poet's family, together with the municipal administration of Sennori, will develop the Prize with Sardinian language and poetry workshops to bring people closer and involve them as much as possible in this art.
