A 66-year-old pensioner from Selargius was arrested yesterday morning by the Flying Squad for dealing drugs from his home. The operation came after officers had suspected for several days that he had narcotics ready for sale in his home.

The Flying Squad's Hawks, after a prolonged observation mission, conducted a house search and found 35 grams of cocaine and sachets used for packaging. This material has now been seized .

This morning – the Cagliari police reported – the arrest of the pensioner was validated, with the order requiring him to remain indoors during the night .
