Selargius, accident at the intersection on 554: two injured

Serious accident this morning shortly after 6 on State Road 554 , at the Via Roma di Selargius intersection.
Two cars were involved. One, which apparently was headed towards Settimo San Pietro, overturned. The other crashed into the traffic light, knocking it down.
Two of the injured people were involved: they are from Sestu and Cagliari and are 51 and 49 years old . One was driving a Renault and the other an Audi: they suffered bruises and superficial wounds.
118 ambulances and firefighters worked on the scene. The legal findings were carried out by the Carabinieri of the Quartu mobile radio unit, coordinated by Captain Ignazio Cabras
Traffic remained blocked in both directions for a long time, traffic then resumed flowing regularly even after the damaged traffic lights were made safe.
