The local police presence is returning to Pirri. Cagliari Mayor Massimo Zedda announced the news on his Facebook page. "The patrols will operate daily throughout the area, which has a population of approximately 30,000," he wrote.
The facility has been reactivated thanks in part to new staff and competitive exams, which have strengthened the team. "We were able to immediately respond positively to the Municipality's justified request," Zedda adds. "In addition, starting in the next few days, a help desk will be open within the headquarters to handle citizens' requests, reports, and needs, initially by appointment."
The mayor expressed his thanks to the entire Municipality, "from its president Maria Laura Manca, from the commander of the local police, Pierpaolo Marullo, from all the offices, and from the officers."
