Mystery surrounds the death of a foreign woman in Sassari: she was found dead during the night between Saturday and Sunday in an apartment on Via Enrico Costa, in the city's historic center.

A relative reportedly raised the alarm after not hearing from her for some time. The cause of death is still unclear, and for this reason, the Sassari prosecutor's office has opened an investigation, which will be conducted by officers from the State Police Flying Squad.

The file is in charge of the public prosecutor Ermanno Cattaneo and an autopsy will be ordered shortly.
