Work completed by the summer and classrooms delivered before the end of the year.
This is the intention of the Councilor for Public Works of Sassari, Salvatore Sanna, for the school on Via Cilea, seriously damaged by an act of vandalism last summer.
In an inspection in recent days, carried out together with the city councilor Gianluigi Onida, the councilor took stock of the situation after the green light, at the end of March, from the city council to the technical and economic feasibility project.
«The work - Sanna recalls - will cost 550 thousand euros, 450 thousand of which will be provided by the Municipality, while the other 100 thousand are the subject of a contribution from the Sardinia Region».
Now we intend to proceed by defining the executive project in the next few weeks in order to approve it in the council and assign the works by the summer. The damage to the school had made the ground floor unusable, affecting the entrance hall and corridor, compromising the electrical, air conditioning and fire prevention systems, causing damage to the false ceiling made of metal slats.
