Important budget change yesterday in the Municipality of Sassari.

The practice, after the presentation in the morning in the first commission chaired by Antonio Paoni, was illustrated in the city council in the afternoon by the Budget Councillor Giuseppe Masala.

It is 2 million and 548 thousand euros divided into 12 expenditure items where the most significant ones concern the 450 thousand euros for the redevelopment of the school in via Cilea, vandalized this summer, and the Engie adjustment for the year 2023 for the cost of 446 thousand euros. Two co-financings, the first relating to the urban regeneration project of the former power plant for 210 thousand euros, included in the intermodal center, and the second for 70 thousand euros for the sports facility in Tottubella financed by the National Fund "Sport and suburbs".

117 thousand euros were then allocated for the realization of some improvements of the Vanni Sanna stadium to be completed by November 30, otherwise the structure will become inaccessible. Co-financing also for the expected New Year's event for which the sum of 250 thousand euros was allocated.

Also worth mentioning are the 280 thousand euros for road signs, the 215 thousand for local roads, the 135 thousand for the Municipality of Nurra and the 140 thousand for the surveillance of the Slaughterhouse. In the meantime, the Boc, the city bond certificates issued in 1996, have been extinguished, one year in advance and will be able to free up current expenditure and, perhaps, lead to new hiring. The budget variation was voted unanimously by all the city councilors.
