The drones of the Sassari local police command become state aircraft . A recognition sealed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and which guarantees a further implementation of the means available to the Sassari Municipal Police which thus becomes one of the first local police forces in Italy.

Drones have been operational in the capital of Turritano since 2016 , in the verification and repression of crimes and in building controls, and now their use can be intensified, for example, in actions to combat environmental violations. With the aircraft, officers will be able to monitor the state of maintenance and conservation of public or public interest real estate (roads, buildings, public works) and private properties, especially in the event of a threat to public safety or danger of collapse.

All this also in collaboration with other sectors of the Municipality or external bodies, from the Construction sector to the Superintendency to the fire brigade. They will also be used for surveys of road accidents, for monitoring traffic and critical road junctions, or for rescue and search of people, and in the activities of the Civil Protection and in emergency situations, as well as during public events.
