A man accused of attempted robbery and possession of offensive objects has been jailed in Bancali. In recent days, officers from the Flying Squad responded to a report of an altercation between a woman and a man on Via Sorso.

The first claimed that the second had followed her and, at a certain point, had forcibly stolen some cash from her pocket.

The woman chased the thief, who held scissors to her throat, threatening to kill her. A fight then broke up, interrupted by the arrival of officers. After conducting an investigation, they arrested the man on the aforementioned charges and took him to the Sassari prison.
