Serious accident before 2 p.m. Monday on Corso Cossiga in Sassari.

A bus on line 3 struck, for reasons currently under investigation, a van that was reversing.

Three people were injured when side windows shattered from the impact of the two vehicles. Three women were taken to the emergency room as a precaution, but their conditions are not life-threatening.

The door of Line 3 and the side windows were destroyed, while the truck appears damaged. Local police are on site to conduct investigations.
