Caught red-handed by the local police while administering alcohol to a 14-year-old , the manager of a neighborhood shop in Sassari was reported . The exercise had long been under the control of the men of the Via Carlo Felice Command who had received various reports from citizens.

In the operation, including an administrative fine of 5,000 euros, a man who was present in the room when the plainclothes officers entered, also got into trouble with a complaint . He declared that he was a relative of the manager but a check revealed that he did not have the requisites required by regional legislation to be able to work in a similar activity.

The 14-year-old's parents were immediately notified and, once they arrived at the Command where the minor had been taken, they thanked the officers several times for their daily commitment in similar activities aimed at protecting the youngest.

The Command itself recalls that anyone who serves or sells alcohol, whether in bars or shops, has the obligation to ask young people for documents to make sure they are of age.
