Sardinian ports and airports, a record year

2023 will be remembered as the year of records : in December Sardinian airports will exceed the threshold of 9.5 million passengers .

The high season period, from June to October, ends with 5.1 million arrivals between ports and airports.

The data were presented this morning at the Cagliari airport by the transport and tourism councilors Antonio Moro and Gianni Chessa .

«The numbers collected so far tell us that we will exceed the overall traffic of 2019, the pre-Covid year, by approximately one million passengers », explained Moro.

The extension of the season was also good: travelers registered in the island's ports and airports were 1.1 million, approximately 10% more than four years ago.
