The general medicine tender failed, and the incentives for "disadvantaged locations" didn't work.
For a total of 496 positions to be filled, 70 applications were received , most from Cagliari and Sassari. The Italian Federation of General Practitioners declared a state of agitation : "New organizational models are needed."
Meanwhile, alarm is growing over the reopening of community homes and hospitals , scheduled for June. "Who will work there?" the unions ask. "There's a lack of staff and organization."
