Bad weather warning in Sardinia.

The regional Civil Protection has issued a yellow hydrogeological risk warning valid until the night between Saturday and Sunday due to the heavy rains arriving on the island.

The alert also concerns the Cagliari area and in particular the Pirri area, often subject to flooding.

Therefore, the Municipality warns in a note, «it is advisable, during the hours in which the Alert is in force, to avoid parking in the streets: Balilla (from Piazza Italia to Via Dandolo) and Traverse, Italia, Dolianova, Sinnai, Settimo, Mara , Donori, Santorre Di Santarosa, Confalonieri and Ampere. Alternatively, it is recommended to use the stalls at the parking lot of the Terramaini municipal swimming pool in via Roberto Pisano".

In the event of a storm it is also advised not to go down to the underground or basement floors; stay in your homes and move away from flooded roads to higher places.
