Aggravated scam. This is the accusation that a 24-year-old of Ukrainian origin will have to answer for, reported by the San Vito carabinieri for having passed himself off as an insurance agent and for having sold a policy that turned out to be non-existent to a 30-year-old from Muravera.

According to what was reconstructed from the investigations, which began after the complaint filed by the 30-year-old, the young foreigner, a worker and homeless by profession, as well as already known to the police, had published on a website a false offer for the stipulation of a car insurance for only 420 euros.

The 30-year-old, considering the announcement convenient and reliable, paid the premium to the fake insurer, only to never hear from him again.

He then turned to the military, who started investigations and soon traced back to the scammer.
