A beautiful evening of art and music. This is how the volunteers of the 'Skizzo' cultural association inaugurated the new mural created by Paolo "Mamblo" Mazzucco on the corner of via San Pio X and via Cagliari in San Gavino Monreale to commemorate Tonino Pilloni, a historic artist from Sangavino and a great supporter of the partnership who in a few years has created many murals throughout the town of Medio Campidano.

He recalls the figure of the recently deceased painter Paolo Mazzucco: «We wanted to pay homage to Tonino Pilloni, an exceptional person who in recent years has always supported the artistic movement that has developed and which has given life to the season of murals and street art ».

By now many tourists arrive from all over Sardinia and beyond, as the president of the association Ivan Licari points out: «It is above all the most disadvantaged walls and squares that are filled with wonderful murals in a beautiful urban redevelopment project, which pushes tourists to enter even in the suburbs in search of modern art. In recent years, street art is becoming very important in San Gavino Monreale, on a par with other major cities in the world».
